Economic stimulus plan. Ugh!

President Obama is planning on an 825 BILLION dollar recovery plan. I really doubt that he will use a mentionable portion to small private businesses because…well… THAT’S POLITICS! I also think that making Hillary Clinton the Secretary of State was a BIG MISTAKE. I believe that she will abuse some of her powers as a means to her own success and not the success of the nation, and I think that the recent financial reports support that. I am not saying that having money makes you a crook, but I do find her husband’s speaking fees to be a bit suspicious. Even beyond that, if we are going to be issuing an 825 billion dollar recovery plan, why are we having to borrow astronomical funds from other countries, when we are also giving other countries money? We should help other countries, I know that, I just don’t think that we should have to deal with all of the debt that President Obama is getting us into for another 100 years. We should make provisions for ourselves first so that we can help other countries for longer.

Economy.

In the past, our economy has been best when private companies are making money and hiring new people to work. I  am not quite sure  where all of the economic recovery plan money is going, but I personally think that it should go towards reducing small business taxes because when the small businesses are thriving, the economy stabalizes. I know that politicians do have to help the “big companies,” but it would be nice if all of that money would be put towards honest, private businesses. It might even be better if we didn’t even borrow the money in the first place, I mean, why go into all of this debt? I guess, what I am wondering is: What are the alternatives to getting a HUGE loan and could our economy stabalize w/o a recovery plan? Could we figure it out ourselves? But I guess that is what we elect politicians to do. Figure it out for us. It would be nice if we would elect them into office, support/encourage them, and thank them. Not, insult them.

Obama Administration!

I am not necessarilly a fan of Obama because I do not think that a democratic gov’t is such a good idea. First, if Obama raises taxes that only creates more power of the gov’t and if they can charge us astrinomical taxes, what else can they do? I really hope that God puts it in Obama’s heart to do the right thing, and I do not know what that is, but what I do know is that God is in control of everything, so as a Christian, I have nothing to fear. And besides that, if we can live through the Nixon and Clinton Administrations, we can definitely live with Obama.

Obama’s mistake!

I hope that it was a humbling experience for both John Roberts and Barak Obama. I definitely do not blame them, I would be nervous too if I were being watched by 10′s of millions of people.

Just to clarify…

My penn name, “Voirdire” comes from the french meaning, “truth.” It is also used today in the United States to refer to the process where the judicial system will question prospective jurors on possible biases and backround befor joining a jury. I chose it because I want to blog about truth and all of the prospectives, not just mindless chatter. If/When I go into politics, I want to be known as someone who kept his word and not some narcasistic, perfidious politician.
